The #OneLess campaign led by ZSL is working to make London the first capital city to stop using single use plastic bottles.
ZSL London and Whipsnade Zoos have recognized the impact of plastic waste in the world’s oceans, and so have removed all single use plastic bottles from their shelves.
By 2025 there could be as much as a tonne of plastic for every 3 tonnes of fish in the world’s oceans and so ZSL has replaced their single use water bottles with Branded Bobbles. In 2015 ZSL London Zoo visitors consumed 155,000 plastic bottles. From June this year all visitors will be able to purchase a Branded Bobble from their stores.
We are delighted to work with ZSL on this initiative and help them reduce their plastic waste. Each bobble is the equivalent to using 300 x single use bottles and helps reduce the 13 billion single use plastic bottles UK consumers use each year.
We supplied ZSL with branded bobbles for their stores in retail packaging together with spare filters and also in no packaging for their staff use.
